💡 Good to Know: Virgin Australia Velocity Booking Tips

  • You can redeem Velocity Points for yourself or for anyone else—it’s not limited to just your own travel.

  • Many Virgin Australia flights can be booked online, but for certain partner airlines (like Hawaiian Airlines or some specific routes on Singapore Airlines, Etihad, or ANA), you may need to call the Velocity Membership Contact Centre.

  • Reward seats are released up to 330 days in advance, so book as early as possible if you’re after popular routes or premium cabins.

  • Can’t find availability online? Sometimes seats are released in batches or delayed. If you see availability through other frequent flyer programs, it’s worth checking directly with Virgin Australia.
