Step 4 of 15: Start Your Booking

On the main menu, click “Book” → “Book a flight with Avios.”
This is where you’ll begin searching for reward flights.

Step 5 of 15: Select the Reward Flights Option

Next, choose “Spending Avios” → “Reward Flights.”
This section shows you all available flights that can be booked using your Avios points.

Step 6 of 15: Begin the Reward Flight Booking

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Book a Reward Flight.”

Step 7 of 15: Enter Your Flight Details

Fill in your departure city, destination, travel dates, and number of passengers, then click “Find flights.”

Step 8 of 15: Check for Available Flights

If there are no available flights on your chosen dates, try adjusting your dates or destination until flights appear.

Step 9 of 15: Select Your Preferred Flight

Once you find an available option, choose the flight that best fits your schedule and Avios balance.

Step 10 of 15: Complete Your Booking

Enter the required passenger details, payment information, and any extras such as baggage or seat selection.

Step 11 of 15: Confirm Your Flight

After submitting your booking, your flights will be confirmed and you’ll receive an e-ticket via email.

Step 12 of 15: Note 1 — Booking for Others

You can use your Avios to book reward flights for yourself or anyone else.

Step 13 of 15: Note 2 — Booking on Partner Airlines

You can book most British Airways and partner airline reward flights online.
If you can’t find availability online, contact British Airways customer service to assist with your booking.

Step 14 of 15: Note 3 — Booking in Advance

Reward flight bookings open 355 days before departure, so plan early to get the best availability.

Step 15 of 15: Note 4 — Limited Online Availability

If you can’t find flights online but see availability through another loyalty program, it’s worth calling customer service.
Sometimes, reward availability may appear with a short delay or be temporarily restricted online.

💡 Good to Know: ANA Mileage Club Booking Tips

You can use your ANA Mileage Club Miles to book flights for yourself or for others — up to nine passengers on the same booking.

While ANA-operated flights can be booked directly online through the ANA website, redemptions with partner airlines (such as United, Singapore Airlines or Lufthansa) may need a few extra steps, including calling the ANA Mileage Club Contact Centre.

ANA usually opens award bookings around 355 days in advance, so booking early gives you the best chance to lock in those sought-after premium cabin seats — especially on long-haul routes to Japan, the US or Europe.

If you see available award seats on a partner airline’s website but not on ANA’s, don’t stress — sometimes availability takes a little while to sync. A quick call to ANA can often reveal extra options.
