If you’re a KrisFlyer member, you already know the value of earning and redeeming miles for flights with Singapore Airlines and its Star Alliance partners. But if you’re new to booking award flights, the process can seem a little tricky. Don’t worry—this guide will walk you through exactly how to book a flight using your Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles, step by step.
Step 1 of 17 – Create Your KrisFlyer Account
If you don’t already have a Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer account, sign up for free.

Step 2 of 17 – Visit the Website
Go to the official Singapore Airlines website.

Log in to your KrisFlyer account.

Step 4 of 17 – Start Your Search
Enter your flight details (origin, destination, and dates), then click Search.
Step 5 – Choose Which Airlines to View
By default, you’ll see Singapore Airlines flights.

Step 6 – Pick Your Flight Type
Choose from:

Saver – uses fewer miles but has limited seats.

Not seeing the flights you want? Click Edit Search at the top and try different dates or airports.
Step 8 – Review the Fare
After you select flights, you’ll see the total miles + taxes/fees in the top right. Click Continue.
Step 9 – Check Flight Details
Review your chosen flights carefully, then click Continue.
Step 10 – Enter Passenger Information
Fill in traveller details. You can skip seat selection if you’d rather choose later.
Step 11 – Select Seats (Optional)
Pick your preferred seat, then click Next.
Step 12 – Confirm & Pay
Review your booking, double-check all details, enter payment info for taxes/fees, agree to the terms, and click Make Payment.
Step 13 – Booking Complete
Your KrisFlyer flight is confirmed!

Step 14 – Booking for Others
You can only use KrisFlyer miles for yourself and five nominated people. You can change nominees, but rules and limits apply.
