Media Highlights: Pointrs in the News!

What a month it has been for Pointrs!

Pointrs has captured the attention of the Australian media, who can no doubt appreciate the many benefits that Pointrs offers to all those Australians who love to travel and want to travel for virtually free* using points and miles!

Over the last month, Pointrs has been featured in Australia’s leading media online, in print, and on TV!

News.com.au is Australia’s No.1 Commercial News Site!

Pointrs was the lead story on news.com.au on Thursday 29th August, featuring on the front page of their website for most of the day. News.com.au reported very high interest in the story, so much interest that our Pointrs website crashed! But it was soon up and running again and the very high interest led to over a thousand Australians signing up to Pointrs and our 30-day free trial that week.

Sunrise is Australia’s No.1 Breakfast Show!

Sunrise invited me into their studios on Monday 2nd September for a segment called “Lift Off In Luxury – ‘Points Guru’ shares how to fly across the world in style for free”. Although the segment was shorter than expected because they were running overtime, it was certainly an enjoyable morning, and I appreciated the opportunity to spread the word on Pointrs to all Australians.

The Sunday Telegraph is Australia’s No.1 selling newspaper!

On Sunday 25th August The Sunday Telegraph featured a short and sweet story on Pointrs in their travel section, highlighting our goal of simplifying earning and redeeming loyalty program points.

On Friday 26th July, which is actually more than a month ago, Pointrs was featured in an Escape article under the headline “The best travel advice our experts have heard in 2024”. Escape associate digital editor Simone Mitchell recommended Australians use Pointrs to get better at earning loyalty points and to use them more effectively.
